Yaros is an island in the east of Slaver's Bay. To the northeast is Yunkai and to the south Astapor, both on the mainland.[1][2]

Recent Events

A Dance with Dragons

Moqorro tells Victarion Greyjoy that three missing ships will rejoin the Iron Fleet at Yaros. The Lord Captain of the Iron Fleet rewards the red priest with a golden torque when the missing ships are found waiting near the cliffs of Yaros. Victarion decides to sail the fleet through the straits between Yaros and the mainland, capturing three merchant ships in the process.[3]
